Standard Bank provides the spark to Moçambola in Chibuto

_{free of charge over 1.300 documents, including Identity Cards and Personal Birth Certificates,as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme.}

_{The social project promoted by the Moçambola Official Bank aims to facilitate the acquisition of important documents for citizens, creating the conditions to raise self-esteem in them and for their full enjoyment of citizenship as well as help to improve national statistics.}

_{After touring the venue where the citizenship campaign was held, Tomaz Salomão said “this is an activity that fits within the social obligations of the bank to support communities in different parts of the country, which shows that we are a Bank that has national integration and wants to contribute to the socio-economic development of Mozambique and also for the well-being of people, in general”.}

_{On his turn, the Mayor of Chibuto, Francisco Mandlate,said that the gesture of Standard Bank is a great help to the citizens of Chibuto: “Due to the participation of the Chibuto Club in Moçambola-2012 through a partnership between Standard Bank and the Mozambican Soccer League, today we benefited from this grant to support the social area, which is a great prize for Chibuto”, explained the Mayor.}

_{He further explained that the campaign developed by the Bank “is a significant support for many residents who had not yet managed to get their identity cards, including the birth registration of their children”.}
