Client wins trip to Word Cup

Standard Bank has recently announced in Maputo, the three winners of the Visa Card campaign, for which the grand prize is a trip to Brazil to watch the 2014 FIFA Soccer World Cup.

The second and third place, Rahima Gruchane and Ligatali Ibrahim, received each as prizes, a 46-inch Samsung Smart TV, a DSTV decoder with a month-fee paid and the right to install the equipment.

During the prize-giving ceremony,the Standard Bank representative, Michele Peres, said that “the campaign that took place between December 23rd, last year and January 31st, 2014, was carried out at the African continent level and aims to increase the use of credit and debit cards for financial transactions and also provide customers with a unique experience of services”.

On her turn, Lurdes Rafael Timane, who won the grand prize, visibly touched, said that the award was a big surprise for her: “It is a unique opportunity for me to get to know South America in the company of my husband. I found out about the campaign in the ATM of the bank”.

The runner-up, Rahima Gruchane, a client of the bank since Standard Totta, also expressed her satisfaction with the prize: “It was surely worth it. For me, the prize was a New Year gift. I have to thank Standard Bank and hope it continues to provide the services it has been offering”.

For Ligatali Ibrahim, who won the third place, the prize came in handy because, “I already had plans to buy a TV set next week”, he concluded.
