Standard Fundo de Pensões Sociedade Gestora is a subsidiary of Standard Bank Mozambique. It is a pension fund management company which provides services including pension fund administration, investment management and advisory.
Established in 2011, two years after the legislation of the pension fund sector was passed, Standard Fundo de Pensões Sociedade Gestora has evolved from a company that was originally set up for the management of Standard Bank Mozambique’s staff pension fund to one with a widerscope,having expanded to manage pension funds for other organisations.
The share capital of the company is MT 229 million, compared to the minimum requirement of MT 3.7 million for companies in the industry.
As a member of Standard Bank Group, the company is well positioned to serve its clients through a team of experienced professionals. With vast knowledge of the pension fund industry in Mozambique, and the country’s financial sector as a whole, Standard Fundo de Pensões Sociedade Gestora enables its clients to benefit from the expertise in Mozambique, and also across different markets within and outside Africa.
