The space designed to foster inclusive growth, by laying the foundations for a robust business ecosystem, values ​​innovation, local content and job creation.

In this sense, the activities of the incubator will be based on five pillars, namely Ideation, Incubation, Acceleration, Market access and Growth.

Essentially, as our managing director, Chuma Nwokocha explained, the incubator was designed to create and accelerate business in order to generate wealth for the country.

"Our commitment to the country is the achievement of our long-term vision of boosting Mozambique's growth. That is why in this space, we will work with all Mozambican entrepreneurs, including all those in society who work for the growth of small and medium-sized national companies, "said Chuma Nwokocha.

For our managing director, the bet on this initiative results from the belief that all brands and businesses with a strong social and economic impact in the world started with an idea such as those the bank intends to embrace and incubate.

In turn, the Minister of Science, Technology, Higher Education and Professional Technician, Jorge Nhambiu praised Standard Bank for having conceived a space whose objective is the creation of sustainable companies that have a positive impact on the economy.

With this act, the bank, according to Jorge Nhambiu, demonstrates that it is positioned to create opportunities for market access for all those who have an entrepreneurial vision, supporting them in the development of skills, counselling and mentoring, helping national start-ups to achieve more Quickly.
