Private branch opens after renovation

Standard Bank presented to its clients, recently, its Private Branch, located in Sommerschield, Maputo, after being renovated, in order to provide greater comfort, privacy and security to its clients.

This renovation was done within the scope of the Bank’s investments in the continuous improvement of the services provided to its clients, who will find in this branch solutions tailored to their needs and staff who follow the evolution of their business, offering adequate and specialized advisory.

Additionally, the branch now offers more safes for the deposit of valuable assets, such as jewellery, wills, confidential documents, among others.

Regarding the renovation, the Chairman of the Standard Bank Board of Directors, Tomaz Salomão, congratulated the employees who designed the rehabilitation project that led to the closure of the branch for 12 months.

“The quality of the final product we have is remarkable. I am a client of this Private Branch and I know how it was in the past and I can see the differences. The first thing that should be highlighted is, it now provides more comfort to our clients and employees”, he said.

“This is an important and significant step, which projects a positive image of Standard Bank in the market, showing that it is concerned to better serve its clients. This branch has the quality to be here in Maputo, and anywhere in the world”, said Tomaz Solomão.

In turn, Xissangue Massamba, manager of Private Banking, said that the purpose of the renovation was to make the branch more competitive in the market, offering more customized services and creating a more welcoming environment for clients.

“Now clients have free internet access to make their transactions and this was done in an attempt to provide what our clients made us realize they wanted”, she said.

It is important to note that Private Bank clients benefit from the various facilities offered by Standard Bank, such as privileged service at any branch, delivery of payment facilities at home, priority response time, specialized assistance for digital channels, immediate access to credit card, life insurance and salary protection, doctor and lawyer referral abroad.

The facilities also include a manager to provide support in the management of financial needs, consumer credit up to 1,500,000.00 Meticais, overdraft up to 80% of net salary, customer care line available 24 hours a day, including Saturdays and Sundays.
