Standard Bank employees awarded with Long Service Awards
Standard Bank had recently distinguished in Maputo a total of 62 employees in recognition of their dedication to this institution, which has been operating for more than 120 years in Mozambique.
The recognized employees had completed in 2015 and 2016, 15, 25 and 30 years of service, totaling 1475 years of experience, of a brand that can be considered unique in this market.
This recognition, which is already a tradition in the country's oldest institution, according to the Chief Executive of Standard Bank, Chuma Nwokocha, aims to show appreciation to the employees for their contribution to the bank's growth; to motivate the new employees to perform their tasks with increasing zeal and also to achieve high levels of seniority and integrity.
“It is a tradition at Standard Bank to recognize not only the performance but also the loyalty and fidelity of its employees as it is because of them that we continue to maintain our position as a solid and trustworthy institution. You are our most valuable asset and we hope that you continue on our side on this new path”, said the Chief Executive.
In another development, Chuma Nwokocha emphasized the fact that the distinguished employees had overcome numerous difficulties, given the complexity of their work, which makes them examples for the younger ones, to whom they must pass on their experience.
