Standard Bank opens a new branch in Balama
Standard Bank has recently opened in the district of Balama, in the province of Cabo Delgado, the largest and most modern bank branch in that district, thus contributing to the creation and consolidation of an inclusive national financial system in rural areas.
The branch has a traditional and digital service area, equipped with ATM for Deposit and for withdrawal, available 24 hours a day, which will help entrepreneurs, and all citizens of Balama, to quickly and safely, deposit their financial resources at any time of the day.
The opening of Balama's agency is part of Standard Bank's business strategy of being closer to its clients, serving them rigorously and offering them state-of-the-art technology so that they can access their accounts and trade at any time of the day.
The new infrastructure is intended to increase commercial activities in the region and boost the process of rural banking, leveraging the economic and social development of the country.
This is a way of reinforcing Standard Bank's commitment to its clients and further demonstrate its ability to serve the mining industry, which represents the largest activity in the region.
It is important to note that by the end of August of this year there will be a supply of 20,000 tonnes of natural graphite from the Balama mine, where USD 30 million will be used to transform the extracted graphite into raw material to be sold to battery producers.
