Standard Bank signed on Monday (October 8th 2012) a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Housing Development Fund in order to facilitate financing for the purchase of houses, as part of the project to build 5.000 houses in Intaka neighbourhood, in Matola municipality.

The training of athletes and delegation members of the Para-Olympic Committee that will represent Mozambique at the Paralympics in London scheduled for 29 August, started in Maputo on July 24.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Standard Bank has provided support valued at 240.000 meticais, to encourage and make the national women’s beach volleyball team more competitive in their fight for a place during the 2012 London Olympic Games.
