Standard Bank, in the context of a credit cards campaign, will take three clients, each with its partner and all expenses paid, to the annual festival Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, taking place 24-26 September in Sandton, South Africa. Are eligible to this magnificent premium customer who transact at least three thousand Meticais, using the Standard Bank credit card, in the period between August 10 and September 13. 

Standard Bank supported for the first time, between 30th and 31st of July, an Education Fair at Pemba city.

The Revenue Authority (AT) signed, on July 27th, in Maputo, an agreement with Standard Bank for intermediation in the collection of Government taxes in order to broaden the tax base and bring services closer to taxpayers.

As parts of the efforts to become even closer to customers, Standard Bank opened on July 7th a branch in the city of Maputo.

Standard Bank, in partnership with Petromoc, promotes, between 28th and 31st of May, in Maputo, the 4th edition of Standard Bank Mozambique Motor Show, a vehicle exhibition that aims to show that there are facilities for the acquisition of various machineries at subsidized prices through bank leasing.

Standard Bank awarded Liga Desportiva from Maputo and Ferroviario from Nampula, as the champion and runner-up of the 2014 edition of Mozambique’s main soccer competition, respectively. The award ceremony took place on Friday, February 27th, during the launch of the 2015 edition of Moçambola.

Standard Bank is in the process of building a new branch in the city of Pemba, specifically in the Cariaco neighbourhood, as part of its branch expansion and modernization strategy.

Standard Bank was recognized by the Mozambican Soccer League through a certificate of merit during the Gala that marked the launch of Moçambola, 2014 edition, held in Maputo, on 11th March, as one of the companies that stood out in support of soccer.

Standard Bank has recently announced in Maputo, the three winners of the Visa Card campaign, for which the grand prize is a trip to Brazil to watch the 2014 FIFA Soccer World Cup.
